As we get ready to train our bodies whether it be a physical training workout session or on the drillground we as firefighters should properly yet quickly warmup.

Here’s a great tactical fitness warmup that can be accomplished in less than 3 minutes and get your training session off on the correct foot!

This warmup incorporates prepping all the common injury areas that we see in the fire service and can even be done as you’re getting ready for shift to give you that little extra edge.  A common oversight is taking the time to properly warmup which can lead to injury and the dreaded light duty.  Give it a try and let us know how it goes!
